...It's a difficult ride that I don't wish on you. Thankfully, some of her memory has been restored. ...It's mostly the little things, like her favorite tea, or how I hate rhubarb, but for me, it's better than nothing... and it's better for her than remembering her suffering.

Well, yes. *Cue Chrom's own TL;DR about Awakening, his past, and oh, yeah, the fact his true love DOES have flaws, but that's what makes Robin herself, and he loves her, flaws and all.
